Anavi Macro Pad 8 Kit

The Anavi Macro Pad 8 Kit is an open-source, programmable mini eight-key mechanical keyboard/keypad with LED-backlit keycaps, NeoPixel-compatible WS2812B underlighting, 0.96″ OLED display and acrylic enclosure!

Each of the keys on the Macro Pad 8 can be reprogrammed for use as a macro or even as a dedicated shortcut key – ideal for streamers as a custom streaming controller, gamers, managing repetitive commands, photo editing scripts, macro control and more! Multiple pre-made keymaps are available for working with popular software like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Jitsi, Skype and Git.

The unit uses Gateron Red LED mechanical switches (compatible with our many

Cherry MX keycaps

!). These linear switches make typing smoother and quieter, and the kit comes with clear keycaps with a set of icon stickers to customise your setup.

The acrylic enclosure gives your ANAVI Macro Pad 8 protection, lifts the board off the table so the underlighting is maximally effective, and helps keep the board in place with four rubber feet. The acrylic panels are screwed together easily with included hardware. The 0.96″ mini OLED display connects with the board over an I²C interface. A short extension cable is also included if you’d rather have the display slightly separate from the board. The display can be programmed with whatever information you want through Arduino IDE.

The Macro Pad 8 is powered by a Microchip ATmega32U4 microcontroller, so it is possible to use it as an Arduino Leonardo-compatible development board and upload Arduino sketches through Arduino IDE or PlatformIO.

The kit requires no soldering however some simple assembly is required. A

is required (not included).
